After Zerodha submits your account details, the National Stock Exchange , the Bombay Stock Exchange , or the Multi Commodity Exchange maps your unique client code against your PAN before the segment goes live. Zerodha states this takes 1 to 3 working days. Until it completes, you cannot place orders, add funds, or open Console and Coin , and an order placed early returns an exchange-not-enabled error.
