How to trade from charts on TradingView (Kite)
Trade From Charts (TFC) on TradingView is one of Kite’s better-loved features. Click anywhere on the chart at the desired price; order dialog appears; place / modify / cancel directly from the chart.

Step-by-step procedure
See the procedure infobox above for the six steps.
TFC vs front-panel order
| Aspect | TFC | Front-panel |
|---|---|---|
| Visual context | Yes (chart shows order) | No |
| Speed | Fast (click + confirm) | Moderate (form filling) |
| Order types | Most types | All types |
| Modification | Drag on chart | Form-based |
For most active intraday traders, TFC is faster and more intuitive.
