These disclosures serve the dual purpose of keeping clients informed about the financial health and regulatory standing of their broker, and of providing SEBI with a standardised basis for supervisory monitoring. The risk-o-meter, originally developed for mutual fund products, has a separate but related application in the context of risk disclosure to trading clients. This article covers both the broker-level annual disclosure obligations and the risk categorisation frameworks applicable to Zerodha&rsquo;s client-facing activities.</p>
