Baroda Mutual Fund was the asset management arm of Bank of Baroda , one of India’s largest public sector banks. The AMC operated as Baroda Asset Management India Limited until its merger with BNP Paribas Mutual Fund in 2022, forming the successor entity Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund .

For Indian retail investors who held Baroda Mutual Fund scheme units, the entity is now Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund. Folios and units continued through the merger without operational disruption.

Baroda Mutual Fund was the Indian asset management subsidiary of Bank of Baroda, operationalised in 1994 as one of the first public-sector bank-sponsored AMCs to enter the Indian mutual fund industry. The AMC operated under the Baroda Mutual Fund brand from 1994 through 2021, when it merged with BNP Paribas Mutual Fund India to form the present-day Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund . The merged entity continues operations under the combined brand.
