Kuvera is an Indian direct-plan mutual fund investment platform and SEBI-registered investment adviser (RIA), operated by Arevuk Advisory Services Private Limited from Bengaluru and accessible at kuvera.in. Founded in 2016 by Gaurav Rastogi and Neelabh Sanyal, Kuvera is one of the earliest and most influential pure-play direct-plan platforms in India and was, at the time of its founding, distinctive for being structured as a SEBI RIA under the SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013 rather than as a mutual fund distributor (MFD) . The RIA structure subjects Kuvera to a statutory fiduciary obligation toward its clients and prohibits the collection of trail commission from AMCs on mutual fund products.
